The Oklahome police department logo has been updated in a number of ways since 2015 to reflect the department’s modernization efforts, including the inclusion of the Oklahoma Insurance logo and Oklahoma CityPD logo in 2016.
In 2019, the Oklama County police department was given the opportunity to adopt the new look.
This change came in part to assist with the new technology that will be deployed by the police department to help meet the new standards.
In the new design the department used, the red, white and blue color scheme has been replaced with blue and red.
The Department of Transportation has also provided support for the police and fire departments to incorporate the new style into their designs.
This is a major step forward in our efforts to modernizing our website and to make our Oklahomas a more efficient, safer and more comfortable place to live and work,” said Oklahoma City Mayor Dewey Johnson.
The new design is a significant step in bringing the Okala.
I appreciate the efforts of all our partners to ensure that Oklahomes will be able to get and stay connected to the best information they need to live their lives, said Oklahoma State Treasurer Mike DeSantis.
